But she gets trapped in a mysterious time loop. She keeps repeatedly attending the same event and keeps dying at the end of the night each time. She then awakes the next day unharmed as if nothing had happened. As a result, she is staring down the barrel of her own mortality and is desperate to find a way out of this time loop. Natasha Lyonne plays the role of Nadia Vulvokov.

As well as being the main protagonist of the series, Natasha Lyonne co-created the show with Leslye Headland and Amy Poehler. She also served as a writer and director for the series.
