In the 2024 dark comedy series “Laid,” Michael Angarano plays one of Ruby Yao’s ex-boyfriends, Richie Diane. Ruby Yao, played by Stephanie Hsu, is a 33-year-old woman who finds that her ex-boyfriends have mysteriously begun dying in the same order she dated them. This starts scaring her, and she realizes she needs to find her exes, such as Richie, and warn them of their impending danger.
