Who Is Tammy Thompson?

Tammy Thompson is one of the featured characters of Stranger Things who made her appearance in the fourth season’s first episode titled “The Hellfire Club.” She used to live in the town of Hawkins, Indiana, before she moved to Nashville, Tennessee. When she was in Hawkins, she used to attend Hawkins High School and was a student there. There is not much known about the private life of Tammy Thompson, apart from the fact that she likes to sing and had a habit of singing songs before the classes started. Tammy Thompson dreams of becoming a big-time singer and starting a professional music career. But her voice does not sound good by any means. Her voice is referred to as that of a muppet giving birth. This reference was made by some of her classmates, including Steve Harrington, who did not like hearing her singing voice one bit.

Even though her voice does not sound as good as she thinks it does, she is still a sweet person with a good and caring heart. An example of her good character was when she stood up for Sheena Rollins and came over to her aid when she was being bullied. This act of kindness made everyone know that Tammy is a good-hearted person, which is one of the reasons why Robin Buckly took a liking to her. Robin started developing feelings for Tammy after she saw her singing Kiss On My List by Hall & Oakes on the first day of history class. While on the contrary, Tammy fancied Steve Harrington and would blush whenever he would come to sit next to her. There was somewhat of a love triangle going on here. Because Steve Harrington was fond of Robin Buckley, while Robin liked Tammy Thompson, and Tammy liked Steve.

Tammy Thompson always wanted to become a singer ever since she was a student at Hawkins High School. Even though her voice was not up to the mark, it was evident that she would one day achieve this dream of hers in one way or another. But despite the voice, Tammy had a vision and a plan to go along with it. This motive of hers and how she was dedicated to bringing it to reality made everyone certain that she would become what she would set out to become. And to achieve that, Tammy put the plan into action and moved from Hawkins to Nashville to get her singing career going. And it wouldn’t be long before she finally achieved her dream of becoming a singer. A year later, Tammy would return to Hawkins to sing the National Anthem before the game at the Hawkins High School prep rally.
